It all started in High School. Doesn’t that start with everyone’s problems…damn High School! Anywhoo, I was tiny entering High School at the measly weight of 95 Ibs. I was still in Figure Skating and now was venturing on into the life of Cheerleading. So basically I burnt thousands of calories a week! I stayed petite and never worried about weight. If anything I was trying to gain weight!

To give you an idea of what the “eating” conditions were at my school, picture this. Our High School had a small cafeteria, which offered French fries, pizza, spaghetti.. etc Not much of a healthy or even tasty menu! So, considering there were over like 5,000 kids in my school.. where were we to eat?? Fast food chains started popping up like unwanted zits, all around our High School, by the time I was in 10th grade we had McDonalds, A&W, Pizza Hut, Diary Queen, KFC and Tim Hortons.

In my senior year I had quit Cheerleading and Figure Skating. Being in sports was taking me away from working for University. So I figured it would be the best decision. I went along with my usual routine, eat out at lunch and then would work after school and eat out again. I gained a little weight after the first year and though nothing of it, I liked having a little bit of a curve to me but then I actually moved away from home, to a new city and a new life. My mother had never really taught me how to cook so when I moved, I stuck with the things I knew, Kraft Dinner and Mr. Noodles, for you that have eaten these before, it’s basically noodles and sauce.. lots of noodles and sauce!

Before I knew it, I had packed on 40 pounds since it all had started in high school. I am not saying the size I was, was fat. But I am a naturally tiny person, and the weight just didn’t look right.. to anybody!

Here is a picture of one of my lowest moments, I had just met Kyle, seeing him for a few months and yeah.. my best friend took this photo us, and I must admit, this is really hard for me to post for the whole world to see.. so here it it..

Now, I know some of you must be saying.. wow she’s not even fat, but I am a very small person and had never let myself go like this before.. So even though I am not obese, I was very uncomfortable and depressed over my weight.

So, after dieting and exercising, I have lost 20 Ibs!! It has been a success, with only a 10-15 Ibs more to loose I will finally be at my “normal” size.

I’m looking for any “fad” diet but to change my overall lifestyle..

So here I am as of a few weeks ago. I will be posting more pictures as I get a new camera.. and this isn’t a full body shot..lol but like I said there will be more to come!
