Power Oatmeal & Nut Butter

1/3 cup Regular Plain Dry Oatmeal
2/3 cup Water
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 tbsp Flax Seed (we used Hemp seed)
1 tsp Almond Butter
30 gm Protein Powder

Directions: Combine water, cinnamon and oatmeal in a pot and cook until you get the texture you prefer or until all the water is absorbed. Remove from heat and add ground flax seeds and protein powder and mix well. Top with almond butter and serve

Comment: I really loved the flavor of all the cinnamon in the oatmeal, they almond butter really made it flavorful!! You could not notice the hemp seeds at all and it was quite delicious!!

Just An Update

Hello Everyone!

Sorry about my tardyness and not posting this morning, I was in meetings all day with my boss (total snooze-fest) Anywhoo.. This morning went really well, woke up really hungry!! I knew something must have been working in my tummy!.

So this morning we had a Power Oatmeal & Nut Butter, and I can tell you that it was delicious!! It was packed with cinnamon and my homemade almond butter to top it off!!

We actually just got back from the UWeight Loss Centre and good news, Kyle has dropped 3.5 pounds since Monday and I have lost a Pound!!

Only 11 more pounds to go until I reach my goal weight!!

Banana Raspberry Protein Smoothie

30 gm Protein Powder
1/2 cup So Good – Omega Soymilk
1/4 medium Banana
1/4 cup Frozen Raspberries
1 1/2 tsp Flaxseed Oil
1 cup Ice Cubes

Directions: Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth!

We tried this smoothie this morning and it was alright, I would have preferred more of a fruit flavor, but it did the trick, not very filling.

Good Morning!

Hello Ladies!

Woke up this morning with a stomach ache.. damn PMS. Honeslty when I am PMS’n I barely eat, I just feel sick for an entire week! I really hate it and thought my workout last night would help but that was not the case.. I did probably 100 crunches in different variations and that really irritated my tummy.

Also, slept in a little this morning making it impossible to make some breakfast, which is usually my toast with homemade almond spread and sliced banana. I had to settle for a banana and an apple instead .. in the car.. racing to catch my bus.. not a very relaxing morning.

Also, I entered a this little box at work advertising a free Detox adn Cleanse from UWeightloss. I signed me and Kyle up for it, adn we have our consultation this Friday?

Has anybody else ever done a detox before?

The nurses here at work told me that it they will only give me a diuretic and I will only loose water weight, but I cannot help but be curious!

Anywhoo, I’m going to go on break here at work, I’m going to get a green tea from Tim Hortons.. I’m really starting to adjust to the taste yet I do not like it hot, I usually wait until it goes cold before I drink it. I’m a wierdo, I know!
