I really love awards! I had no idea that you could even get cute awards through blogs but I’ve gotten 2 so far!! (*evil laugh…muah ha ha ha jk*) But the latest one I have received is from Leah @ Simply Fabulous

Why I’ve Been Gone For A Few Days?

Hey guys and gals.

I’ve been on hiatus for a few days now. There has been alot running through my mind. I am unsatisfied. I feel unsatisfied with my life, my weight, myself in general.

Have you ever gotten into a complete funk?

I’m starting to feel like “am I doing this right?” I haven’t lost any weight since my detox week, eventhough I worked out at the gym all weekend and have been sticking to my diet. I feel like I am putting in all this effort and seeing minimal results, if that!

I really don’t enjoy my job that much. I feel as though people judge me since I am small already and 99% of them are overweight. They’re constantly telling me that I don’t need to loose the weight, and they’re right! Honeslty I look completely normal. But, normal is not good enough for me! I want to be fit and healthy, but not look too skinny! Is that a bad thing?

I have a select few that say I look great and support me, but most of the people in my life, make fun of what I’m doing.

It’s so frustrating, I’m trying to make myself a better person, and get in touch with who I am, and set my goals high. Yet I have people bringing them back down.

Anyways, that’s why I have been MIA the last few days, just not in a happy state of mind right now. I really need to get myself out of this funk!

On a good note, I went to buy some new jeans and I’m down 1 -2 sizes depending on the brand of jeans.. that cheered me up! But not enough. Help!

Weigh In / Work Out

Good Afternoon!

I managed to get about 45 min – 1 hour of walking in today during all my break, I usually walk about 1 mile every 10-15 minutes, depending on how many older women I have to run So I feel as though I got in my steps for tonight’s weight in. I aim to get at least 10,000 a day. But since I didn’t go and weigh in yesterday I have yesterdays steps adn todays steps.. so far I have 19, 076 steps! Hopefully I lost a little bit. I’m more excited to hear if Kyle has lost anything.

Does anybody else work out at work or on their lunch break?

I used to feel tired when I would, but now I’m not nearly as bad, I may be a little drouzy but a quick snack or some water usually clears that right up! I also got called skinny minnie TWICE today, really cheered me up but also made me walk I’m the kind of person who really can’t take a compliment seriously!

Anwhoo, work is almost done, I would like to get in a few more steps so I think I’ll do a few more steps! I hope you all enjoy your nights, I’m sure I’ll have a blast working *cough ..not.. cough* I will be posting bright and early tomorrow to let you know how everything went


Delicious Treats!!

Man, did I make the most wonderful treats within the last two days!! I wish I had my camera to show you all just how TASTY they are! I even forgot the recipes at home, so I will have to post them tomorrow since I work again tonight at Fabutan.

The first ones I made were called Peanut Butter Protein Balls, all you add were peanut butter, honey, protein powder, rice krispies and some other ingredients and they reminded me of some cookies my grandmother used to make.

And, today I made Chocolate Almond Protein Balls. They have unsweetened cocoa, protein powder, honey, anddried apricots and you roll them into balls, then roll them around in crushed almonds!! SOOO GOOD!

Just look how tiny they got!! This proves that anybody can loose the weight if they REALLY want to!! 🙂

Me and Kyle have our weigh in today, I’m a little nervous since I treated myself to like a tablespoons of peanut butter last night.. so I Maybe I’l walk it all off at lunch!!

OH! and I almost forgot, they are opening a gym here at my work (Hospital) for 16$ a month!! Is that not ridiculious, I am paying 60$ a month at my other gym!! I am totally joining and will go there everyday at lunch!!

CANNOT WAIT FOR SUMMER! This will hopefully be the first summer in YEARS that I will wear a bathing suit in public.. so excited!

Celebrities Working Out

My boyfriend lost our camera! I now how to depend on other forms to brighten up my posts to give it some more interesting things instead of just food and me rambling on! SO, I love to see photos of celebrities working out, it really makes me feel as though they aren’t perfect, they too have to keep up at the gym and eat healthy to have the bodies they have.

So, I have gathered a few celebs that I like, along with photos of them working out! So enjoy, and please do comment!

First, we have Audrina Partridge! She was spotted in LA @ this new gym that incorporated acrobats! I think Audrina is very fit, she has said it her self that she works out almost everyday to have her body in the shape it is!! *inspiring*


And Next we have Kate Beckinsale, I found a photo of her working out! She is a super mom and drop dead gorgeous!! I hope I look like here when I reach her age!


Last but not least we have a double whammy! Two celebs, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens are working out together!! They are very young, so no wonder they are so small but again, even they need to work out!


Anyways, the point of this post is to make everyone look back on themselves and don’t give yourself such a hard time! Everyone needs to work out and eat healty to acquire bodies that you see in magazines! But most of the celebs are usually photoshopped anyways.. SO yah! Happy thinking everyone!

On My Way To A New Me!

Well everyone, I’m off to the UWeight Loss Centre to get my personal profile done and pick up my first grocery list. I will posting alot about what I am eating and the recipes they give me so if any of you would like to try it as well then your more than welcome!!

Tomorrow is when we start this madness, vitamins, pedometer and journal are ready for the challenge and so am I.

I’m going to post “pre” weight loss photos tonight for you all to see what I look like now and I will take a picture every week until my 6 month program is done.


Detox Day!

You would all not believe how nervous I am to go for my fre Detox and Cleanse today at U Weight Loss. They also mentioned that I will be given a Healthy Weight Analysis. I’m really nervous since right now my BMI is on the higher side for my height and age, and I really hope they don’t tell me that I have no more weight to loose. This is my choice and I want to live healthy!

Here is what the Detox and Cleanse has been claimed to do:

* Free your body of toxins and cravings
* Improve your skin’s appearance
* Increase your energy
* Prevent overeating and control appetite

Now if this is all true and as great as it sounds then I am in for a treat, but I must admit I am still skeptical! I was told all you do is take tablets once at night and then in the morning, but from other people I have heard that once you take these supplements, you will basically crap youself for about a week and become dehydrated!

So you can imagine all the questions I have for them. Your also supposed to loose around 5 pounds as well, but I’m nto doing it for the weight loose, but for the cleanse!!

On a nicer note, I worked alllll night last night at the tanning salon, and man am I sore.. I think I probably burnt more claories then I do at the gym in a 4hr shift! I have to constantly clean beds, dust and do laundry!

I got on the scale today and I am down another pound!! But I don’t really trust my scale.. it is a sneaky bugger and does ramdomly add pounds I think.. or I want to think..

Good Morning!

Hello Ladies!

Woke up this morning with a stomach ache.. damn PMS. Honeslty when I am PMS’n I barely eat, I just feel sick for an entire week! I really hate it and thought my workout last night would help but that was not the case.. I did probably 100 crunches in different variations and that really irritated my tummy.

Also, slept in a little this morning making it impossible to make some breakfast, which is usually my toast with homemade almond spread and sliced banana. I had to settle for a banana and an apple instead .. in the car.. racing to catch my bus.. not a very relaxing morning.

Also, I entered a this little box at work advertising a free Detox adn Cleanse from UWeightloss. I signed me and Kyle up for it, adn we have our consultation this Friday?

Has anybody else ever done a detox before?

The nurses here at work told me that it they will only give me a diuretic and I will only loose water weight, but I cannot help but be curious!

Anywhoo, I’m going to go on break here at work, I’m going to get a green tea from Tim Hortons.. I’m really starting to adjust to the taste yet I do not like it hot, I usually wait until it goes cold before I drink it. I’m a wierdo, I know!

Gym Time..

Wow! All I can say is Wow, what a workout I have myself tonight!! Went to the gym for about 2 hours with my boyfriend tonight and I worked my butt off. The only problem was I noticed my heart rate was sooo high like in the 170’s. I’m not sure why today it was so high. I didn’t drink or do anything differently.

Here Are My Stats

Elliptical: 35 Minutes

Calories Burnt: 410

Avg. Heart Rate: 160 (no idea why so high!)

Bike: 15 Minutes

Calories Burnt: 70

Total Calories Burnt: 480!

480 isn’t bad for not being at the gym in about a week. I’m horrid I know. Hopefully I will be able to last a bit longer on the elliptical. The most I’ve done in one sitting was about an hour. I burnt about 800 calories that night doing that alone. I really do need to keep up with my good diet. No more slacking. I really want to meet my goal of losing at least 10 pounds within the next two months, but I’m finding that I’m eating better and getting more excercise btu still not weight lose!!

Are I going crazy!! Why can’t I loose weight!

Talk about frustrating! Anyways, I’ve had a long night, and have alot to think about so I’ll leave you with this one question..
